14 Days of Prep Prayer 2014

We’re praying & looking forward to seeing the great things God will do in the hearts of all of who are at Encounter God’s Presence camp. Thank you for praying and please feel free to send this link for Prep Prayers to others so they can also intercede.

Remember James 5:16b tells us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Join us as Kristi has prepared these 14 Days of Prep Prayers.

Fasting – if you feel led, some will pick one day to fast a meal or a meal one day the week before camp in preparation. This is obviously not just skipping a meal but that extra time spent seeking God. Read Isaiah 58 for fasting that pleases God. Another option esp. for those who struggle with food disorders is to fast from something else for like 30 min. that day, like tv or the computer and use that time pursing God.

For His glory,
Jason Williams

Day 1: Give Thanks

As we prepare for this year’s Encounter God’s Presence Camp let us give thanks to God for all He plans to do! Also, thank Him for financial provision for every adult and teenager with a desire to go to camp and for the opportunity to serve with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

God, You’ve chosen to declare and show forth Your Glory to this generation and for that we are grateful. We count it an honor and a privilege to be used by You and do not take it for granted. God, we pray that You will have Your way in every one of us, that You would speak through us to reach this generation for You! Thank You for loving us all so much, for showing us Your mercy, grace, and peace everyday. We honor You as our King, Lord, and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.  Psalms 107:1 NLT

Let us, Your servants, see You work again; let our children see Your Glory.  Psalms 90:16 NLT

Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and Jesus Christ –the Son of the Father-will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.  2 John 1:3 NLT

Day 2: Prepare our Hearts

Let us allow God to deal with our hearts today concerning anything that may not be pleasing in His sight.

Lord, we all fall short of Your glorious standards daily and know that it’s only by Your grace, mercy, and the blood of Jesus that we are able to come to You for forgiveness. You are so faithful to forgive and cleanse us. Father, You know how our thoughts can become afar off. And help us to be more focused and responsible with things You entrust us with. God, create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us in Jesus’ name, Amen.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  Romans 3:23 NLT

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 NKJV

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. Psalm 139:2 NKJV

When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. Luke 12:48 NLT

Day 3: Pray for the Unity of the Spirit

God, You have called us to be one as You are one with Jesus and Holy Spirit. God help us to come together, in unity, serving one another in love and bringing You Glory. “Oh how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Let us pray for this camp to be a revival of God’s intended plan for His Church and for the Holy Spirit to move mightily upon us as we gather together in one accord. Also, pray for lasting relationships to be established and for opportunities to serve with one another again for the advancing of the Kingdom of God. In Jesus’ name.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  Psalms 133: 1 NKJV

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans 15: 5 NKJV

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.  John 17: 22-23 NKJV

Day 4:  Heart of Expectancy

Lord, we pray that You will do a new thing within us all at camp this year!!! From the worship, to the Word spoken over us, and to the prayers that will go forth, God have Your way. Help us to yield to Your Spirit and as You move we will move with You. May everything be done unto Your Glory!! Create rivers in the dry wastelands in our lives and make a pathway through the wilderness we face, so Your called and chosen will be refreshed. Lord, place in us a heart of expectancy for breakthroughs, healing, deliverance, lives to be completely changed, and eyes opened to the truth of Your Word. Lord, we expect You to do a new thing, in Jesus’ name!!!

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 NLT

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”  Revelation 21:5 NKJV

Day 5: God’s Will be Done

Let us pray that God’s will be done at camp. God we recognize that You are in control of everything and You are not subject to our plans or schedule, but rather we are subject to Yours. You are welcome in each and every session. Wherever we are, we welcome You to have Your way in us all so we can experience You like never before. Father, help us to wait patiently on You, yield ourselves to Your Spirit, listen closely to what You say, and as You lead we will follow.

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Matthew 6: 9-10 NKJV

Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.  Micah 7:7 NKJV

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

Day 7: Times of Worship

Father, we pray for a sweet time of worship while we pursue You at Encounter!  We pray for Jonathan Lewis, Heidi Williams and the rest of the worship band as they prepare, and that Your Holy Spirit will lead and operate freely through them in every song. We pray for their voices, sound equipment, instruments, mics, and everything needed to operate as planned. As we come together as one body, we pray that everyone will be in one accord, worshiping You in spirit and in truth. Lord, we pray You will consume us with Your love and joy, for Your joy is our strength! In Your Presence sorrow and depression will disappear and we will be filled with joy and gladness, in Jesus’ name.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.  John 4: 23 NKJV

Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear and they will be filled with joy and gladness.  Isaiah 51:11 NLT

…for this day is Holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow for the joy of the LORD is your strength!  Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV

Day 8 – Pray for the Word of God & “Triple T”

Let us pray for the Word that will go forth during each message given by Stephen Evans, Shawn Bran, Jenni, John Stone, Heidi Williams and Jason Williams (see pics). And also when our individual youth groups  share together in “Triple T” (Times To Testify).

Lord, thank You for the Word You’ve placed on the hearts of each speaker. I pray that we will have ears to hear and hearts to receive Your Word and apply it to our lives so we will be doers of Your Word and not hearers only. Thank You that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish everything for which You sent it. You say, when we abide in Your Word, we shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free. Lord, we pray that everyone who is in Christ Jesus will be able to walk in that liberty; free from guilt, condemnation, and the bondage of sin. In the name of Jesus.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:22 NLT

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.  Isaiah 55:11 NKJV

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32 NKJV

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.  Romans 8:1 NKJV

Lord, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve given each artist and athlete to serve You and others. Help them to continue to resist the temptation to conform to the world and would never become prideful. We pray You will be glorified and honored in such a way that it pleases You to say “Well done, good and faithful servant”. We pray that everything will be done in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and that no flesh will receive glory in Your place. Thank You for giving each individual a heart to serve with their gifts, may they increase in the creativity of their gifts and talents as they continue to serve You. In Jesus’ Name.

Praise His name with dancing…  Psalm 149:3 NLT

Day 10 – Our Brothers and Sisters Persecuted For Their Faith

Let us pray for our brothers and sisters facing persecution for their faith. Some are in hiding, have family taken, in prison, facing death, and others have been killed because of their faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we know You are with those who are persecuted. We pray Your Spirit will continue to rest upon them as they endure persecution and that they would be delivered from the hand of their enemy. Your grace is sufficient for everything they need. May their lives and the sacrifices they make be a testimony to those who do not know You as Lord and Savior and may many come to know You because of it. Help us to pray for those who persecute Your Church, to bless them and not curse them. Lord, we pray you will remove the scales from their eyes so they may come to know Your saving Grace. In Jesus’ Name.

… and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Romans 12:14 NKJV

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,  Matthew 5:44 NKJV

Day #11- Words from the Prophetic Presbytery Team

Lord, we pray for our prophetic presbytery team. Thank You, for the prophetic words that will be given to each youth pastor & spouse and also the individual words to be given during ministry time. We pray for everyone ministered to during this time and that they will receive Your Word as confirmation, strength, encouragement, and comfort. Continue to use them in ways they could never imagine. We pray that Your Word will be a “right now word”, to which, they can hold and stand on to build them up. Thank You that Your promises over us are “Yes” and “Amen”. We receive it, in Jesus’ name.

Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put My words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”  Jeremiah 1:9-10 NLT

But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.  1 Corinthians 14:3 NLT

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.  1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT

Day 12 – Jenni’s personal story of Human Trafficking
Please pray for Jenni who will share her personal testimony as a sex trafficking survivor via Skype from Thailand. Pray that teenagers and adults will receive the word of God over their own lives concerning physical, sexual, or verbal abuse. That true healing will come into their lives.

We pray for those who have gone through such horrific violations in their lives. God, You are stronger than anything we have faced and we pray that You will remove all pain, hurt, shame, and guilt we feel, in Jesus Name. We come against the lies of the enemy and pray that Your word of life will be spoken over each of us. Restore unto us gladness in proportion to their former misery! Replace the evil years with good, for the plans You have for us are for good and not for disaster. Father, give us wisdom on how to minister to everyone in love, in Jesus Name.

Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good.  Psalm 90:15 NLT

Day 13 – Encounter God’s Presence Camp

Let us pray for Encounter God’s Presence Camp, the vision Pastor Jason and Heidi have to help those at camp to “fall totally in love with God and love others like God intended”. Also pray for it’s purpose of allowing us all to “experience intimate worship, establish healthy relationships, and equipping leaders who serve and have compassion for pre-Christians while pursuing spiritual growth”. Let’s agree and believe together that God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask or think concerning His plans for Encounter God’s Presence Camp.

God, there is nothing too hard for You. What may seem impossible to man is easily possible with You. Thank You for the vision You’ve placed on Pastor Jason and Heidi’s hearts and that You want to do even more! You want to give them not only the desires of their hearts but fulfill Your will in their lives as well as the lives of so many in our surrounding cities, other states, and countries. Your Word says keep asking, and you shall receive, keep seeking and you will find, keep knocking and the doors will be opened. Lord, we ask that You will carry the vision You have for E.G.P. as far as You want to take it for Your Glory, in Jesus Name!!!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV

This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people. But is it impossible for me? Says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.  Zechariah 8:6 NLT

For with God nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”  Mark 9:23 NKJV
