7 Days of Prep Prayer

We’re calling you to be a part of the prayer army…

This weekend Encounter God’s Presence team head out on a Mission Houston trip to be used by God to share His heart & His truth. Understanding that there is major spiritual warfare before, during and after a mission trip, we know that we can’t just sit idly by but have to engage with the spiritual weapons God has given us.

We want to pray Biblical prayers as we prepare the 7 days until we leave for what God has for all those who are going to be impacted by this mission and those who are a part of team. Please commit to praying each day with us.

If you’re a team member going, please recruit all your friends & family intercessors that will commit to pray for you specifically before & while we’re on the trip. It would be good to forward them these 7 prep prayers too.

Please let us know if you want to make a donation to go towards this trip, we are trying to get the supplies and a variety things for our outreaches.

So please share the promo videos and the Prep Prayer pic on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, by sharing, you could be what helps draw someone to join us next time to have a real life-changing encounter with God.

For His glory,

Jason & Heidi Williams

Day #1 of 7 (Sat. Sept. 28th. And then our 7th prayer lands on the day we travel that Fri.)

Salvation, Freedom and Healing

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:…” Joel 2:32 KJV

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear.” Isaiah 59:1 NKJV

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NLT

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV

Heavenly Father, we pray for everyone that will be ministered to by the Encounter mission’s team, that they would truly come to know You as Lord and Savior. For all those we’ll be coming into contact with on our outreaches, meetings, God, we pray they will encounter You in such a way that their eyes will be opened to see You for who You are – King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We’re believing You’ll touch their hearts and minds so they are changed forever. We pray for complete freedom from every stronghold, sin, imagination and high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You. May every thought be brought captive to the obedience of Christ. And God, we praise You now for complete healing, body, soul, and spirit for Your Glory! In Jesus’ name.

Day #2 of 7 (Sun. Sept. 29th)

Heart of Expectancy

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 NLT

Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:5 NKJV

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will do a new thing within us all on this mission trip! From the worship, to The Word spoken over us, outreaches, when we’re serving and to the prayers that will go out, God have Your way. Help us to yield to Your Spirit and so as You move, we move with You. May everything be done for Your Glory! May You create rivers in the dry wastelands in our lives and make a pathway through the wilderness we face, so that Your called and chosen will be refreshed. God, please place in us a heart of expectancy for breakthroughs, healing, freedom, lives to be completely changed, and eyes opened to the truth of Your Word. God, we expect You to do a new thing, in Jesus’ name.

Day #3 of 7 (Mon. Sept. 30th):

Times of Worship

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” John 4: 23 NKJV

Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear and they will be filled with joy and gladness.” Isaiah 51:11 NLT

…for this day is Holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV

Heaven Father, we pray for powerful times of worship while we pursue You on this mission trip!  We pray for Heidi Williams and the rest of the worship band as they prepare, and that Your Holy Spirit will lead and operate freely through them in every song & ministry time. We pray for their voices, sound equipment, instruments, mics, and everything needed to operate as planned. As we come together as one body, we pray that everyone will be in one accord, worshiping You in spirit and in truth. God, we pray You will consume us with Your love and joy, for Your joy is our strength! In Your Presence sorrow and depression will disappear and we will be filled with Your joy, in Jesus’ name.

Day #4 (Tues. Oct. 1st)

God’s Will be Done

Let us pray that God’s will be done on this mission trip.

“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Matthew 6: 9-10 NKJV

Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” Micah 7:7 NKJV

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

God, we recognize that You are in control of everything and You are never subject to our plans so we always want to submit to Yours. We desire for You to be the focus of each and every part of this mission trip as this is for You, Your glory and for advancing Your Kingdom. Wherever we are, we want You to have Your way in us all so we can experience You like never before. Father, help us to wait patiently on You and to yield ourselves to Your Holy Spirit. Help us to listen closely to what You are saying and as You lead to follow wholeheartedly. We pray all this in Jesus’ name.

#5 of 7 Days of Prep Prayer – Give Thanks (Wed. Oct. 2nd)

As the team continue to prepare for this year’s Encounter God’s Presence mission trip let’s continue to thank God for all He’s gonna do. Also, thank Him for financial provision for all those that are going on the trip that may still be raising their money. And let’s be grateful for the opportunity to serve with our brothers and sisters in Christ on the mission field.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalms 136:1 NIV

“Let us, Your servants, see You work again; let our children see Your Glory. May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children. May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:16-17 NIV

“Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and Jesus Christ –the Son of the Father-will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.” 2 John 1:3 NLT

God, You’ve chosen to declare and show Your Glory to this generation and for that we’re grateful. We count it an honor and a privilege to be used by You and do not take it for granted. God, we pray that You will have Your way in every one of us, that You would speak through us to reach people for You! Thank You for loving us all so much, for showing us Your mercy, grace, and peace every day. We honor You as our Lord and Savior. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.

#6 of 7 Days of Prep Prayer – Pray for the Unity in The Holy Spirit (Thurs. Oct. 3rd)

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133: 1 NKJV

“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5 NKJV

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17: 22-23 NKJV

God, You have called us to be one as You are one with Jesus and The Holy Spirit. God help us to come together, in unity, serving one another in love and bringing You Glory. “Oh how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

As our team desires to see God move and be glorified, let us pray together for this entire mission trip to be an awakening of God’s intended plan that none would perish and that The Holy Spirit would move mightily. Also, pray for lasting relationships to be established and for opportunities to serve one another as we pursue to advance the Kingdom of God. In Jesus’ name.

#7 of 7 Days of Prep Prayer – Prayer for Travel & Safety (Fri. Oct. 4th)

Let’s pray for our team’s safety today, as we travel for Mission Houston.

“…Keep sound wisdom and discretion; so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.”  Proverbs 3: 21-24 NKJV

“The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”  Psalms 121:7-8 NLT

Heavenly Father, we pray for Your arm of protection over everyone as we travel today and through out this mission trip. God, help us to get rest so we can receive all You have for us. Watch over us and keep us safe from any harm. Please give us wisdom during our trip  and may everyone have an AMAZING time! May we all be changed in a major way! In Jesus’ Name we pray.
