Some of the team will be able to stay the 2 nights on the base. Extra cost for nearby hotel.
Remember to check the What to Bring List, bring bedding for twin size bed, towels, etc.
Sat. Oct. 11th
* Some are leaving from Tyler area about 10am and some from Burleson and other surrounding areas around 10:30am (those loading EGP supplies may meet earlier) and traveling on their own to meet up there about 4pm. (For example, from Tyler to Hungerford is about 5 hour drive time plus any extra stops. Burleson to Hungerford, it’s about 4 hour drive time, plus stops.)
Meet at Restoration City 158 Straightway Dr., Hungerford, TX 77448 (It’s about ½ mile from Love’s Travel Stop 350 Walnut St, Hungerford, TX 77448 and about 8 min. from Buc-ee’s in Wharton, 10484 US-59, Wharton, TX 77488)
* Gas stop/snacks possibly at Buc-ee’s in Temple past Waco is Buc-ee’s, 4155 N General Bruce Dr, Temple, TX 76501
* Arrive at Restoration City (base) 4pm
* 4:30pm – Worship practice & merch set up, pray around room
* Dinner at base at 5:30pm
* Encounter Night at Restoration City 6:30-9pm w/ Games, Worship, Biblical message & ministry time

* Bring snacks if needed. (No fridge in guy’s dorm.)

* Breakfast at 7:30am (or sleep in if opted out in advance)
* Abundant Life Church in Wharton (Pastor Travis & Caree)
* Lunch – eating out (need your $)
* Possible work project
* 5pm – Dinner at base
* Service project at base & prep for outreach

Mon. Oct. 13th (Columbus Day)
* Mon. breakfast at 7am!!! (or sleep in if opted out in advance)
* Kid’s Outreach at park May be an hour or so drive to a park in Houston.
* At park – make videos, balloon animals & face painting for the kids. Need – wear EGP merch, kid outreach supplies, drinks & sunscreen.
* Lunch on own at a food place near park (need your $)
* Dinner on the trip home
* Head back, gas/snack stop (possibly Buc-ee’s) return to DFW about 7pm, East Texas time TBD. (Some may caravans may need to leave earlier to get back sooner.)
